The very first ice cream cone appeared in St. Louis at the 1904 World's Fair.

What a wonderful invention! The perfect ice cream holder! :)

Ben & Jerry's New 2006 Flavor #2

Beer and ice cream? That should be an interesting combination!

Black & Tan **New in 2006!**

Cream stout ice cream swirled with chocolate ice creamWe've no idea how many Ben & Jerry's fans might be beer enthusiasts, but we suspect that once you've tasted the way we've blended real cream stout ice cream with a whirl of chocolate ice cream, you might soon be raising more than a few pints of Black & Tan - and more than a few brew-aha!'s too.

Strawberry Ice Cream Recipe

I don't know where my ice cream maker is at the moment :(. So I am trying to do it just the freezer way. I am getting together with friends this weekend for dessert sharing and I am wanting to do something summery and yummy!

I found this recipe on www.foodnetwork.com and I hope it is as good and easy as it looks!

Strawberry Ice Cream

1 pint strawberries

1/3 cup sugar

2 cups light cream, very cold

Juice of half a lemon

Remove stems from strawberries. Place strawberries on cookie sheet and freeze until solid. In a food processor combine cream, sugar, lemon juice, and frozen berries. Blend until smooth and remove to 9 x 9-inch glass dish. Freeze again until firm. Serve.

BRAIN FREEZE!

On August 7, 1977, Dennett D'Angelo set a world record for eating 3 pounds, 6 ounces of ice cream in 90 seconds.

OUCH! That is a lot of ice cream and a lot of pain! I wonder if anyone has beat his record?

My latest healthy addiction!

This is a constantly stocked item in my freezer! These bars are delicious! And are so strawberry tasting. And look at that box. How can you beat 4g of fiber and the calories. The boxes now actually say 90 calories in the store. Even better! I hope you go find these and give them a try. Don't be scared that they are "diet"! And for you WW followers out there, they are 1.5 points per bar. YUMMY!

Ben & Jerry's New 2006 Flavors #1

Vermonty Python **New in 2006!**

Coffee liqueur ice cream with a chocolate cookie crumb swirl & fudge cows.

We interrupt ourselves with much hooting through tin horns to bring you this brilliant new ice cream, made from dried shrubbery and old cereal packets. This is a ripping good flavor, really, so buy it quickly and run away, silly person, or we shall taunt you a second time.

This reminds me that I MUST get tickets to SpamALot. It is Boston right now. Anyone see the show or tried this ice cream yet?

Let me know!
